The Rush Companies is the #4 Best Workplace in Washington State!

The 2020 Puget Sound Business Journal Rankings are in... 

We are excited and honored to announce that The Rush Companies (which Rush Residential is one of five divisions in) was just ranked #4 in the Puget Sound Business Journal's Best Workplaces, Large Company category! 

After more than 30 years, Gordon Rush, Matt Smith and the leadership team at The Rush Companies have learned that leaning towards developing and supporting a company’s team generates higher morale, sense of accomplishment, profits and overall successes.

With the recent pandemic this is no exception. Rush has maneuvered its way through three “recessions” and knows the importance of reserves to keep its team in tact. Which is exactly what Rush is doing today. Working for Rush means we all grow personally, continually develop professionally, and our team evolves every year enabling us to give back to our communities even more!

To rank companies for Washington's Best Workplaces, information was obtained from firm representatives and company websites by an independent firm, "Quantum’s Best Workplaces" which scores factors in 30 items across six categories including trust in leadership and team dynamics.

Companies that made "The List" had the highest composite scores in an employee survey administered by Quantum Workplaces on behalf of the Puget Sound Business Journal. This year they focused particularly on how companies have handled the pandemic and ways in which they have communicated and supported their team members.

Our Rush team members were sent a survey that was answered anonymously... we are grateful to our team in offering feedback and that we collectively agree that Rush is indeed one of "Washington's Best Workplaces."

It is especially notable that through the different sizes of businesses recognized in 2020, only a few are located in the South Puget Sound (outside of King and Snohomish County). While the Rush Companies work spans Western Washington, we are proudly headquartered in Gig Harbor (Pierce County), where we started.  As we grow we will continue to be honored to be a wonderful workplace anchored in the South Sound Region!
